Message from Mr. Djoken

I am very proud to help facilitate an event that not only bridges generations but has sustainability of generational knowledge transfer. We have to position ourselves to always bring to light our next generational leaders. Their voices and wisdom alone can change the world.
The UNESCO Center for Peace (UCP) always has opened our door to innovation and creativity of our young leaders. We welcome organizations and other partners who have the same vision. Whether this means opening up the business environment so that new entrepreneurs and new ideas have the chance to thrive, expanding educational opportunities and partnerships to reach more people we are committed to bringing added value and supporting solutions to Africa's challenges. Message from Dr. Hill

It is our honor and privilege to bring together two generations whose desire is to assist African countries in rising to their greatness. To do this there can be no barriers or separation of each generation’s wisdom.
For me, this Summit is not a summit as usual but a “summit unusual”. We should see added value in the areas of development, partnerships, entrepreneurism and so much more. As we meet with young social innovators, thought leaders and emerging entrepreneurs from the United States that are wanting to become an asset to some of Africa’s rising and thriving countries we will explore new ways our young leaders can take a chance on themselves and their dreams. The critical KEY is that together, we can learn to do things better and smarter for the 21st century.
We want to also make certain that we encourage the young leaders in Media to come aboard as an intrinsic part of what we do. If we are to assist in this great change we must portray the greatness of each country while assisting them in their global growth and awareness. read more
